Improving accessibility by low income families to subsidized child care re-sources
The 4C Council administers the countywide listing of low and moderate income parents who are looking for enrollment in a state subsidized child care program. This service, in collaboration with 140 area State Subsidized Programs aims to link low income families effectively with subsidized vacancies when they occur. Four thousand parents and 6,000 children were listed on this database in 2005.
