California Alternative Payment Program
The State Alternative Payment Program is a parental choice program that serves children up to 12 years of age. Your eligibility is determined according to the size of your family and gross monthly income. You can choose any provider including licensed and non-licensed providers. Parents interested in this program should contact the Resource and Referral Department to add their name to the waiting list at (408) 487-0749

You must be one of the following:

  • Working
  • In a training program
  • Seeking employment
  • Incapacitated
