Qualifying for Subsidies

Subsidized Child Care

Our Subsidized Childcare Programs assist low income families in paying for some or all of their child care cost. Subsidized Childcare Programs help families learn about quality childcare options and connects families with other supportive services in the community. Our goal in offering these programs is to assist families in becoming self sufficient by subsidizing the cost of childcare. Along with a multitude of other services we provide, this allows families to obtain and keep employment. The 4C Council has several Subsidized Childcare Programs: CalWORKs Subsidy, Family Childcare Network, California Alternative Payment Program, California Center Based Program, and California State Preschool Program.

Process for Submitting Your Eligibility

Low income families needing financial support to pay for child care, so they can work, seek employment, or attend school, are encouraged to contact the 4C Resource and Referral Department to discuss their eligibility and also to be entered into the countywide Centralized Eligibility List. Parents may also complete the form below and mail to the 4C Council.
