Health and Safety Program

With funding from the California Department of Education, Child Development Division, the 4C Council supports and facilitates the improvement of health and safety practices in child day care facilities through its Health and Safety Training Program. The purpose of this program is to provide training or reimbursements to assist licensed center-based staff, licensed and license-exempt family child care providers, and in-home providers in completing prescribed training on preventive health practices such as Health and Safety and Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.

  • Due to the funding availability we are not accepting applications for the Health and Safety Reimbursement. Please continue to call our office for updates, questions or concerns.

  • Funds are available on a first come-first serve basis, and centers are limited to five (5) reimbursements per fiscal year.

  • Each person shall have at least a $5.00 co-pay for each training segment.
