Caring for Kids with Diabetes
The 4C Council promotes the health and safety of children in child care settings through training of child care providers in caring for children with special health needs. With such a high incidence of diabetes among children, at some time, according to the California Childcare Health Program, “Child care providers are likely to have a child with diabetes in their care.”

LifeScan has provided funding support, enabling the 4C Council to offer FREE training to Santa Clara County Licensed and License-Exempt child care providers to care for children with diabetes in their program. Early Care and Education Professionals including Licensed Family Child Care providers, Child Care Center staff, and License Exempt Kith and Kin Providers are encouraged to sign up for this FREE training.

We will list training opportunities here when more are available.
