On Thursday, August 16, the Board of Directors of the Community Child Care Council of Santa Clara County, Inc. (4Cs) delivered a unanimous vote to elect Joseph Manarang the new permanent Executive Director.
Having served as the Interim Executive Director since last Fall of 2017, Manarang was initially one of three top candidates selected by the board, during an interview process.
“I believe the board did their due diligence to select the best candidate. And we believe that Mr. Manarang is the right person at this time for all of the challenges the agency has for the Executive Director,” said 4Cs Chairman Ben Menor. “We look forward to working with him closely to achieve the necessary goals and objectives to continue to serve and maintain the safety and health of all the children who are under our care.”
Once all of the necessary requirements have cleared Mr. Manarang to formally accept the position, a formal announcement will be distributed out to all the appropriate channels.
James McDaniel, the Board Chair of the Personnel Committee, feels positive about what the future holds. “Mr. Manarang has done an outstanding job dealing with the compliance concerns of our stakeholders in a difficult set of circumstances,” said McDaniel. “We look forward to working with Mr. Manarang in the future to provide services to those most in need in this area.”
Update: On Tuesday, August 28, 4Cs' Policy Council approved the Board's recommendation to appoint Jospeh Manarang as the new Executive Director.
